COVER FRIDAY - HARDCORE EDITION: Friend or Foe by Madball (Agnostic Front cover) - I supposed calling any Agnostic Front song performed by Madball a cover could be a stretch. Agnostic Front was one of the seminal NYC hardcore bands in the early 80’s. By the late 80’s though, Agnostic Front was kind of fading while their side project Madball started to pick up steam.
Friend of Foe was a bonus track on their first full length album Set It Off in 1994. Outside of the better production values, there is not much to say other than it’s pure hardcore goodness. That is, it’s in your face and makes no bones about what they are talking about.
