Obscured by Smashing Pumpkins - To date, I have posted at least eleven Pumpkins songs on this blog, but oddly nothing from their 1994 Pisces Iscariot. Though it was billed as just a release of outtakes and B-sides, it quickly rose on the charts and grew their already large fan base on the strength of songs like the cover of Landslide.
The albums has a pretty wide array of softer ballads to all out kinetic rocker tunes, but one of my favorite tracks is Obscured. This is the dreamy, ethereal side of the band that was part of their signature sound. It was a go to summer song on a album that I still play quite a bit around this time of year.
