The reason I got reminded of it, was a conversation with a brand owner about the great impact he had created for this brand on earned media. While the brand/ products had found organic mentions all over the Internet and who’s who media of their particular industry, the brand itself had little presence on social media or Google.

I moved into writing software to analyze audience data, and wrote a lot of computer graphics software. Are you leveraging social media at all? For events where there is a speaker who is matched to the audience I like MOTM ( www.motms.com ). What's working and not working for you?

What if grouping all audiences into the same retargeting campaign is actually doing more harm than good? To implement something similar yourself, you can use AdWords Dynamic Remarketing and create city-specific campaigns that have individual audience groups paired with specific products or offers on your site. It’s an afterthought.
