Are we getting dumber?

I recently created a branch on the branch.com site asking people if they like the iPad mini better than the original iPad, and the conversation was pretty good, so I thought I’d try it out on a blog post. Second, this is a curious hypothesis – that people are dumber today than they were perhaps even a thousand years ago – and I’m interested to hear what people think about it.
