Conversely if you’re raising $20 million in a C round then you probably shouldn’t be targeting an $80 million fund because they aren’t likely a good fit. One first-pass qualification is “stage.” If you’re raising a seed round (say $1.5m) and the firm you’re talking to manages $1.2 it’s probably not going to be a good fit.

Minneapolis voted to defund but then no one could agree on what that actually meant. If they can’t figure it out in Minneapolis, I’m not quite sure how they’re ever going to figure it out in New York. And, call it what you will—impromptu, inspiring, ambitious—but the one thing you cannot call his Presidential campaign was successful.
