HELL WEEK: Highway to Hell by AC/DC - You ever have one of those week’s that is pure hell? Sometimes it is work, sometimes it is school. Some schools “celebrate” a hell week in some sadistic ritual to break their students. I know plenty of folks in startups where hell week is more like hell months without end. And with Halloween a few days away, what better time to celebrate our very own Hell Week on this blog.
As it is Metal Monday, how about we ask AC/DC about how one gets to hell? This was and will always be one of my favorite AC/DC albums, the last one with Bon Scott on vocals before he died the following year. The eponymous title track was an anthem, a rock guitar classic, and an obligatory ode to the grueling touring schedule. While there are no shortage of memorable AC/DC riffs, this one by Malcolm Young is for me one of the best.
