Denver Startup Week

I’m partnering with Chase Ink and attending Denver Startup Week on their behalf.

Startup weeks and weekends may be a relatively new concept, but they exist all over the country; growing entrepreneurial communities in cities like Phoenix, Washington, D.C., and Portland even have their own startup weeks. But the leader of the pack is Denver Startup Week, the biggest event of its kind in North America.

I’m fortunate to be able to attend this year’s Denver Startup Week, starting on September 12th and ending on the 16th. Each day in beautiful downtown Denver will hold a number of ingenious presentations, workshops, networking sessions, panels, job fairs, and more. None of it would be possible without sponsors Comcast and Chase Ink, which offers deposits, loans, cash management, merchant services and Chase Ink credit cards for 4 million U.S. small businesses. Denver Startup Week includes Basecamp launched by Chase for Business: attending entrepreneurs’ “home base” during the five-day event.

One of the highlighted events includes Mel Robbins, who will be speaking on Friday on how to “Disrupt Yourself to Accelerate Your Startup Growth.”

I’ll be tweeting live updates of the free event for Chase Ink, so if you can’t make it to this year’s Denver Startup Week, don’t fret! I’ll take your questions at @blogtrepreneur and @MatthewToren and share details of the event all week. Make sure you follow the hashtags #ChaseForBiz and #DENStartupWeek for insider updates, and check back to the blog when it’s all over for a follow-up on the event.
