My colleague here at Belmont University, Jose Gonzalez, has been working with a group of students to assist honey farmers in Guatemala. They all spent time in Guatemala over part of the Christmas break and are now back working on plans to help these farmers. The potential is remarkable.

Entrepreneurship is more than just a driver of economic development. Another example comes from a group of Belmont University students who traveled to Guatemala as part of their entrepreneurship studies. Its predominantly indigenous community continues to be one of the most economically distressed in Guatemala.

I would focus on one product and set a goal to generate $1M in yearly revenue from it. what are the most crucial steps to be taken by a new tech startup when outsourcing major part of the tech to IT firms or outsourcing “product development” eg new social media website project? Once you’ve done that – then. a new art form?
