I’ve talked to a lot of business people asking what medium they use to introduce and market themselves. Some of them have different tools, such as e-mail and website portfolios. They are one of the most effective direct marketing tools. But the vast majority of them have one thing in common—business cards.

We have to do Search Engine Optimization. We have to do Email Marketing. We have to do Paid Search. Smart Marketers work hard to ensure that their digital marketing and advertising efforts are focused on the most impactful portfolio of channels. Maybe it is Search, Email and Facebook.
