I love watching our portfolio companies iterate on their products, especially when they are in the early days. Initial efforts often provide nothing more than learnings, but turning those learnings into an improved product offering is a huge part of what being an early stage company is all about.

Specifically, they are built for Google Apps and available in the Google Apps Marketplace or the Chrome Web Store. For an early stage company that is deep in iterating on product features with its customers, this is a huge advantage. Each company is going after something very different. In addition to being an outstanding early stage / high growth executive, Chris has made a study of management in startups and is extremely thoughtful about what does and doesn’t work. Reviewing a company’s web site before the interview will give you some reasonable background.
