Introducing my next nonprofit venture: Ripples of Hope

I’m so excited to announce today the formation of my next nonprofit adventure, Ripples of Hope!

I can hear you now, “What, you needed to create another company?!” Fair. But this one is different. Plus, I haven’t started a new company since 2015… :)

First of all, I’ve been planning Ripples for years. And, without having an organization to, well, organize it, I’ve basically been performing a form of Ripples for a while now.

I can hear you again, “Uh, do you want to tell us what Ripples is already?!” Good point, let me do that.

Ripples of Hope is a nonprofit organization that exists to incubate and accelerate growth of high-impact organizations focused on making the world a better place.

Think about 48in48 and what’s so magical about that organization. We have created a way for marketers, creatives, developers, digital experts, etc., to use their superpowers to make the world a better place (building 48 nonprofit websites in 48 hours.) We’ve seen the magic in doing that. When someone can use what they’re great at to help others, it’s transformative for everyone involved.

Ripples of Hope is the 48in48 of leadership. There are so many amazing leaders out there that would love to use their leadership gifts (superpowers, we all have them!) to help other leaders succeed in building businesses that make the world a better place. Ripples will be their (or, your!) opportunity to do that.

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been doing this for quite some time, just in an un-organized way. I’ve been mentoring nonprofit leaders, coaching nonprofit leadership teams, and trying to help for-profit leaders believe that they can achieve fast growth AND use their business as a force for good in the world (it’s one of my favorite things about Dragon Army – we stand for good, and we are growing fast.)

So, take a spin on the website and see what we’re doing. I’ve listed some companies/leaders we’re already working with. If you want to help in any way/shape/form, let me know.
