As a culture, we have become obsessed with instant gratification. Technology has shaped the way we go about our daily lives. If there is a way to boost productivity, streamline tasks and manage our daily lives; we are all ears.

Let’s take a look at simple iPhone hacks that will make your life easier, whether it’s daily planning, shopping, scheduling meetings or even simplify your parking payments.

1. Make use of applets

Applets can be defined as a small application that merges one or two features, mostly in the utility category. This app will run within the scope of the larger program, but it will enable you to perform a variety of tasks that will simplify your management.

For instance, backup photos that you are tagged in on Facebook on your iOS, turn off wifi as you leave home, track your work hours on Google Docs, receive daily news updates or even trigger a phone call when you are in an awkward situation.

2. Shop smart with Slice

Think of Slice as your personal shopping assistant. It will track your deliveries and keep an eye on purchases to alert you of price drops, discontinued items and product recalls. The app runs automatically and you will receive an e-receipt via email.

3. Pay for parking with RingGo

Parking only to realize you don’t have cash on you is frustrating. That’s where RingGo comes in. RingGo lets you pay for your parking without coins, you just need a payment card and a phone or PC.

4. Turn down for what?

If you are the type that likes to fall asleep with iTunes tracks playing, this hack is ideal. TD4W sets the timer on your phone’s clock for the duration you want to play music.

5. Which ‘Waze’ should we go?

Waze app is life-saver if you commute to your office during the week. Waze is the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app. Join other drivers in your area who share real-time traffic and road info, saving everyone time and gas money on their daily commute. Use this app to plan your route and avoid road rage on your way to that big client meeting.

6. Stay super charged

Do you have to be at a meeting in 10 mins but your phone is only on 2% battery life? If you don’t know it yet, your iPhone will charge faster if you select Airplane Mode when it’s connected to the charger.

7. Who’s allowed to touch?

The Accessibility feature on iOS will restrict other users from accessing certain apps, tabs or deleting something by accident. This is especially handy when your little one uses your phone for games or your friends love playing pranks on you. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access and then turn it on. The accessibility shortcut should also be turned on.

8. Curb In-App purchases

Take control of your expenses by making use of the iPhone feature that helps prevent accidental expenditures. This is really helpful when you aren’t thinking straight with in-app purchases. A little control goes a long way. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Enable Restrictions and scroll to disable In-App Purchases.

9. Checkout your most visited locations

Check out your frequent locations on your iPhone. You’d be surprised to see where you spend the most of your time, and it’s pretty amazing that your phone keeps track of it all. Access this by going to Privacy Settings > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations.

10. Increase productivity with IFTTT

IFTTT
can really simplify the way we manage our time, business and leisure events. This iOS application is compatible with over 360 apps that work with IFTTT including Email, Instagram, your iPhone, Twitter, Fitbit, Evernote, Reddit — you name it. It’s a nifty way to bring all your services together and streamline management for increased efficiency and productivity.
