1. Joel Gascoigne

The co-founder and CEO at Buffer, Joel Gascoigne, reveals crucial tips about what he has learnt so far running one of the most popular social sharing apps on the market today, on his personal blog.

Joel shares tips about self-improvement, entrepreneurship, and management, but also, engaging stories like “How an investor who turned me down ended up sleeping on my couch” and “What online gaming taught me about startups”. Although it has not been updated in recent months, the blog archives are chock-full of insightful startup tips.

 

2. Tomasz Tunguz

Tomasz Tunguz is a partner at venture capital firm Redpoint. He writes daily, data-driven blog posts about key questions facing startups including how to fund raise, startup benchmarks, management best practices, content marketing and team building. He has invested in an extensive list of successful startups including Axial, Dremio, Expensify, Electric Imp, Looker, and ThredUP.

He was also a product manager for Google’s AdSense social-media products and AdSense internationalization. 3. Chris Goward – WiderFunnel blog

Chris Goward is the brains behind Wider Funnel, a conversion optimisation agency that boasts among their clients Google, Electronic Arts, eBay, Magento and 1-800 Flowers. He believes that marketing agencies should prove their value by the consistent use of conversion optimization tactics, and he is the creator of the LIFT Model™ and WiderFunnel System™.

4. Steve Blank

Steve Blank was considered least likely to succeed in his high school graduating class. Today he is a Silicon Valley legend and well-known for developing Customer Development methodology, one of the core tenants of the Lean Startup movement.

5. Andrew Chen

Andrew Chen is a veteran in the Silicon Valley scene. He works at Uber on their Growth team and writes about mobile, metrics, and growth on his personal blog. He is an advisor/investor for tech startups including AngelList, Barkbox, Dropbox, Grovo, Kiva, Product Hunt, Qualaroo, Wanelo, and Gusto.
