I had witnessed a number of early-stage tech startups in LA raise seed capital from the Bay Area and relocate. It was 2009 and it was terribly difficult to get any financing (if you can remember a time like that!) They have raised company profiles and made follow-on financings easier. We had a specific goal in mind.
