I’ve found the best way to do this is to manage the projects daily. I’ve been acting as project manager/dev manager. work is mostly drupal, wordpress, seo and php/lamp. People in the Philippines or India or eastern europe are very low cost – $7-10/hour. I guess we’ll see where this one goes.

Even the one time blogging platform of choice Wordpress can, without a lot of hassles, can be manipulated to be your entire site's content management system. Marc Cenedella of TheLadders coded up the first PHP versions of his site, and that was more than five years ago. Don't want to learn code? That's right--Indiana.

Full discloure, I am a former PHP, Perl, ColdFusion, ActionScript, VB.NET, ASP.NET and C# developer. You can develop web.apps in assembly language if you insist, but it’ll take 10 times more time and money than doing it with.net, php, ror or other modern languages and you’ll have 10 times more bugs to deal with.

I’ve managed to contact two serial entrepreneurs by email, give them the pitch, and both of them agreed with me but commented that it would be a challenge to set up. Might be cost effective if you outsource your project to India Inc. @$10-15/hour. I have a related dilemma. None of my friends and I are able to do this ourselves.
