Perhaps the biggest piece of new news is that after 17 years of operations we’ve changed our name from GRP Partners to Upfront Ventures. We wanted our name to reflect both the changes we’ve made and how we plan to operate for the next 20 years. Our portfolio companies value us as sparring partners. What’s up with that?

Find a portfolio company or two that they’ve invested in. These can be called: Operating Partners, Venture Partners, Board Partners or similar. We operate a policy of “no retribution” and “no reciprocity.” It’s pretty easy since nearly every VC lists its partners on the website. It’s super easy to suss all this out.
