LEXINGTON — A man wanted in an April 15, 2016, double homicide has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Kareem Henderson was arrested Thursday in Chambersburg, Pa., according to a Davidson County Sheriff's Office news release. He was wanted for his involvement in the deaths of Kevin Michael Caldwell, of Mooresville, and Joseph Dominique Anderson, of Salisbury. The two were found shot to death around 5:30 a.m. in a Ford Crown Victoria in the 4000 block of U.S. 64 West.
Henderson is currently incarcerated in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
A second suspect named in this investigation, David White, also has two warrants for homicide in the murders. He is currently serving a federal prison sentence for unrelated firearms assault charges. He is scheduled to be released in August 2020. Upon his release from federal custody, White will be transferred back to North Carolina.
