It’s hard to believe that we are heading into the home stretch of 2021. But before we do, let’s look back at the busy summer that the Version One family had!

Fundraising and Exits

Patch, an API platform for negative emissions, raised a $20M Series A led by Coatue Management with participation from existing investors (Andreessen Horowitz, Pale Blue Dot and us!). Dapper Labs raised another $250M, putting their valuation at $7.6B. Coatue Management led the round with participation from existing investors (Andreessen Horowitz, GV and us!) and new investors too. TechCrunch covered this latest funding news

Replay, a browser that records all of the context that developers and engineers need to fix bugs faster, launched out of beta and announced a $5.6M seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Here’s why we’re drawn to Replay

Zenput raised $27M in Series C led by Golub Capital to continue improving its application to automate operations procedures such as food safety tracking, public health standards, and changing market circumstances. SaaS Industry covered the funding news

Guesser was acquired by Gemini. The Guesser team brings their experience in decentralized finance applications, smart contract software and tech, and on-chain markets to Gemini.
