Evernote launched Evernote Business back in December 2012, introducing a suite of tools and services that help organizations by more collaborative and effective through improved knowledge sharing and discovery between work teams. Evernote Business then came to Asia through Korea and the launch of Yinxiang Biji Business in China earlier this month, but the company has announced that Evernote Business will now be made available in more markets across APAC including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.

Evernote Business is built on the same core set of features that make up Evernote’s consumer service, with the addition of functionality designed specifically to meet the productivity needs of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as workgroups in larger companies. For example, individuals can place work documents, projects and research into Business Notebooks, which they can then share with coworkers or creating a document repository by publishing to the company’s Business Library. Other features include Related Notes, which allows for serendipitous discovery of valuable information by displaying relevant content from a company’s collective knowledge.

“We’ve received tremendous interest regarding Evernote Business around the world, particularly in Asia Pacific, where users have been enthusiastically looking forward to in-region support,” says Linda Kozlowski, Director of International Marketing, Evernote. “We are now able to bring the same level of commitment to businesses in APAC that Evernote has always provided users, to help organizations that value their work get smarter and more productive.”

The 15-strong team at Singapore’s marketing consultancy firm GetIt Comms has been trying out Evernote Business for the past three months. “From the moment we used Evernote Business, my team and I saw the benefit of having a robust repository of knowledge and inspiration that could be tapped on by everyone,” says Asuthosh Nair, Director of Client Advocacy, GetIt Comms. “We spend less time with meetings and emails, because information can be found quickly and accurately in one place.”

Evernote Business is priced at SGD14 per user per month for SMBs in Singapore, and USD10 per user per month in all other areas in South-East Asia. Evernote Business offers an expanded suite of Evernote functionality that includes all the capabilities of Evernote, Evernote Premium and the new Business Premium features.
