Are you looking to buy an all-in-one (AIO) printer for your small business? Given the wide range of options available today, it’s not exactly easy to decide on the right printing device. Here in this post, we have compiled a list of the five best AIO printers for small businesses.

1. Epson EcoTank Pro ET-5880

A great addition to any small or midsize business office, the Epson EcoTank Pro ET-5880 offers exceptionally low running costs with its refillable high-capacity ink tanks.

It’s an ideal AIO printer for a busy small business office that needs to print 100s of color pages each week.

The printer uses four DuraBrite ink bottles. A single replacement ink set can print up to 6,000 pages.

With the ET-5880, the per-print cost turns out to be as low as 2 cents per page for both color and monochrome pages. But, the printer is a bit costly.

With Epson’s PrecisionCore 4S Heat-Free printhead, this inkjet produces stunning detail and brilliant colors. The text appears well-shaped and is legible down to 4-pt font-size.

Key features of the ET-5880:

  • Automatic duplex copy, print, and scan
  • 50-sheet single-pass automatic document feeder
  • 3” LCD preview screen
  • Print speed of 25 ppm and 12 ppm (monochrome& color)
  • Supports paper size up to legal
  • Supports borderless prints up to 8 5″ x 14″
  • 250-sheet paper tray

Connectivity options include Ethernet (up to 100 Mbps), USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth BLE. The printer supports mobile and hands-free voice-activated printing as well.

2. HP OfficeJet Pro 9015

A low-cost AIO designed for light to medium-duty in small offices, the OfficeJet Pro9015 is loaded with a bunch of convenience and productivity features.

The printer offers near-laser output quality.

The text, in particular, looks great, rivaling an expensive laser printer.

Photo print quality is not as great as what a dedicated consumer-grade photo printer would deliver but it’s fine for most in-house printing jobs (e.g. reports, excel sheets, and presentations).

Like the first AIO for small businesses discussed above, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 also promises a low running cost.

With one set of high-yield replacement HP ink cartridges, you can print up to 2000 monochrome and 1600 color pages.

The per-print cost turns out to be around 2.2 cents for monochrome and 8.8 cents for color pages. With compatible HP ink cartridges, you can further reduce it by at least 20%.

The printer is eligible for the HP Instant Ink program. With this program, the per-print cost comes around 6 cents per page but if you are not going to use the OfficeJet Pro 9015 for printing borderless photos (with 100% coverage area), it’s better not to opt for the HP Instant Ink program.

It’s because the ink subscription program only takes into account the total number of prints, regardless of whether they are text prints with less than 5% print coverage or photo prints with 100% coverage.

Key features of the OfficeJet Pro 9015:

  • 35-sheet automatic document feeder
  • Automatic duplex copy and scan
  • 7” touchscreen
  • 250 sheet paper tray
  • Print speed of 22 ppm and 18 ppm (monochrome & color)
  • Supports paper size up to letter & legal

Connectivity options include Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and USB 2.0.  The printer also supports mobile and cloud printing. You can also print directly from (or scan to) USB thumb drives.

3. Brother MFC-L2707DW

A monochrome laser AIO, the MFC-L2707DW is a capable printer designed for small workgroups and micro offices. This is an ideal printer for your small business if you require monochrome text prints on a regular basis.

The output quality is above-average (for a laser printer) and the text is legible down to the 4-pt font-size.

It is one of the few low-cost laser printers that are considered suitable for high-volume print jobs in a small business environment. A high-yield replacement toner cartridge can print up to 8,000 pages. The in-box (standard-size) toner promises a page-yield of 2,000 pages.

The running costs for the MFC-L2707DW are around 1.6 cents per page.

Key features of the MFC-L2707DW:

  • Automatic duplex printing
  • 50-sheet automatic document feeder
  • 7” color touchscreen
  • 250-sheet input paper tray
  • Print speed of 42 ppm

Connectivity options include Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and USB. The printer supports mobile and cloud printing as well.

4. Epson Expression Premium XP-7100

With its 5-color ink system, the Expression Premium XP-7100 delivers superb photo print quality.

Although positioned as a photo-centric home-printer, the Expression Premium XP-7100 is an ideal choice for small businesses that need to print images and graphics on a regular basis.

High-capacity ink cartridges offer page-yields of 500 B&W and 650 color pages. The per-print costs for the Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 are around 5 cents for monochrome and 13.7 cents for color pages.

Key features of the Expression Premium XP-7100:

  • Automatic duplex printing
  • 30-sheet automatic document feeder
  • 3” touchscreen
  • Can print borderless images/graphics up to 8″ x 10″ in size
  • Print speed of 15 ppm and 11 ppm (monochrome & color)

Connectivity options include Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and USB 2.0. It supports mobile printing as well.

5. Canon Pixma G6020

Consider investing in this printer if you need to print 100s of pages every week/month.

The printer delivers sharp block text and accurately colored images.

Key features of the Canon Pixma G6020:
