Bee Cave Games Raises $1.9 Million

Bee Cave Games has closed on a $1.9 million round of debt financing, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Austin-based casino, social and mobile game developer previously raised a $1.3 million seed round of funding last summer.
Founded in 2012, the company makes Blackjack Casino, its initial title, which is available to play on Facebook.
CEO Erik Bethke heads Bee Caves Games, which has employees who previously worked with Zynga, Electronic Arts, Blizzard Entertainment and Multimedia Games.
The company’s investors include Erich Schaefer, co-creator of the Diablo game series, Melissa Guzy, founder of Arbor Ventures and Peng T. Ong, entrepreneur and founder of Match.com.
