Capital Factory Brings the NewCo Festival Back to Austin this June
With so many festivals and conferences in Austin, it can be hard to get them all straight. But NewCo Austin isn’t your average festival or conference. This event has the focus of a business conference and the feel of a music festival, which makes it the ideal place to connect businesses on a mission to the people who care.
NewCo Austin Host Companies, or HostCo’s, provide the backbone of the festival. These companies can be brand new and just getting started on their mission, or existing companies that are doing something in a new way. For example, computer technology giant, Dell, recently started implementing sustainable alternatives to polyethylene shipping cushions.
The idea of NewCo Austin is to showcase purpose-driven companies in their native environment. Instead of bringing convention goers together in a ballroom, participants from executives, entrepreneurs, investors and future influencers travel from one HostCo to another to experience their workspace first-hand.
