The annual celebration of the sensational Central Texas entrepreneurial scene is right around the corner as the 2018 edition of Austin Startup Week is coming October 1–5.

Speakers at this year’s event showcase some of the city’s top talent including from David Altounian (St Edwards University), Joshua Baer (Capital Factory), Colette Pierce Burnette, Ed.D. (Huston-Tillotson University), Julia Cheek (EverlyWell), Claire England (CTAN), Rachel Feferman (The Culture Book), Dan Graham (Notley), Preston L. James II (DivInc.), Bob Metcalfe (University of Texas, Cockrell School of Engineering), Sarah Jones Simmer (Bumble), and many many others.

March Magic will be represented at Austin Startup Week on Thursday, October 4 at 2:15 pm at a session titled “SXSW 2019 Preview & Strategies for Startups.” This presentation will offer general tips for entrepreneurs, as well as specific information on how to get involved with SXSW Pitch (early application deadline is October 4). Attendees for this session will be eligible to win a free badge to SXSW 2019.

Thursday, October 4 also brings the ATX Startup Crawl, which is a tour of the latest and greatest of Austin’s startup community. This not-to-be-missed party runs from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
