Strap Technologies, the groundbreaking company headquartered in Austin, Texas with a mission to become the world’s first substitute for the white cane, has announced that Natalia Ferriz will join the rapidly expanding team as Marketing Director. Ferriz will oversee the marketing strategy and development of Strap during its next stage of growth as the state-of-the-art wearable device that enables blind people to detect any type of obstacle and notify them of possible collisions, comes to market.

Ferriz is a communication and marketing specialist in earned, owned and paid media with over twelve years of experience at the top management level. She has been a marketing advisor in planning, communication, positioning, conceptualization and project viability for startups in Latin America such as Clip (fintech), Portèlo (fashion tech), Lady multitask (digital community) and Collective Academy (education).

For seven years Ferriz was Head of Communication at Makken (one of the top communication agencies in Latin America), where she had the opportunity to work on positioning strategies for Zara, Sephora, Disney, Fox, Formula 1, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Shake Shack, Modelo Group, Hublot, Old Navy, Levis, Danone, and Diageo Group, among others. Through her consulting firm, (leadit.mx), she has launched and accelerated more than 70 startups in different segments in consumer, fashion, technology and health. She is also a national speaker for What a Woman, Dalia Empower, Clip and Fuckup nights.
