large_TK-logo-blueTrendKite, a public relations analytics company, announced Thursday that it has raised $10.7 million in Series C funding.

Noro-Moseley Partners, based in Atlanta, led the round with continued participation from Battery Ventures, Silverton Partners and Mercury Fund.

The company plans to use the money to scale its operations, customer support, on patents and to hire more employees. TrendKite plans to double its workforce of 70 employees in the next six months.

To date, TrendKite, founded in 2012, has raised $20.6 million.

“This round, combined with the last, gives us the foundation needed to scale our company for further growth,” Erik Huddleston, CEO of TrendKite, said in a news release. “We are aggressively recruiting top talent and are accelerating the product roadmap that will empower PR professionals and corporate brands.”

TrendKite recently moved into larger headquarters in downtown Austin. The company has tripled in size this year and has seen its revenue double every four to five months. Its customers include Nike, Hershey, Pinterest, the Memphis Grizzlies, Mondelez International and Asana. TrendKite makes analytics software that lets agencies and corporate brands measure and analyze the impact of their PR efforts across many channels with little effort.
