Turning a great tech idea into a viable tech company with impact and success requires more than an idea and hard work. It also requires a comprehensive business plan, sufficient funding, an effective development team, great marketing and sales staff, intellectual property protection, effective management, careful accounting, and (of course) customers.

Get more in-depth info on all these needed skills and data points at the next edition of the Austin Forum. Titled “Tech Idea to Tech Startup,” this session occurs on Tuesday, April 9 at the Austin Central Library. Doors open at 5:45 pm and the presentation begins at 6:15 pm.

Representing numerous different aspects of the startup journey, speakers at the Austin Forum on April 9 include Gordon Daugherty (Capital Factory), Kirk Cesari (Cesari & Reed), Harold Ingersoll (Atchley & Associates), Mitch Jacobson (Austin Technology Incubator), Brian Lang (Profit Foundry), Jill Murphy (FBI), and Nicolia Wiles (PRIME|PR).

One lucky attendee of the “Tech Idea to Tech Startup” presentation will win a free badge to SXSW 2020, scheduled March 13–21.

Whether you are an established founder or you haven’t yet made this life-changing leap, this April 9 session can give you valuable insights to make your journey a smoother one. For those who are already involved in a successful entrepreneurial activity, reminder to apply for the 2019 Austin A-List awards. Deadline for this competition is end of day on Monday, April 8.
