Currently serving as executive chairman, CEO, and founder of Dosh in Austin, Texas, Ryan Wuerch was driven by the desire to create a business that would shift millions of dollars of wasted advertising to people. Dosh is an app that hunts down offers and coupons and automatically converts it to cash by depositing into the users Dosh wallet. Dosh eliminates the need to cut coupons or scan receipts to get cash back. A successful businessman, Ryan Wuerch enjoys running marathons and has run in the Boston Marathon nine times.

Started in 1897, the Boston Marathon, organized by the Boston Athletic Association, is the oldest annual marathon in the world. The Boston Athletic Association, through the popularity of the Boston Marathon, has created the Boston Marathon Official Charity Program. The Boston Marathon Official Charity Program is designed to support other charities such as the American Red Cross, the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, and Goodwill.

The Boston Marathon program provides these charities with invitational entries to the Marathon, so the charities can send a representative to run in the race. Charity representatives can receive pledges from groups and individuals, which helps them raise funds for their charity.
