What exactly is going to be the name of your business? Whatever the inspiration or relation may be, the naming of your business is one of the most important parts of becoming a CEO. We came up with our product name before our company name. The name had to be easily pronounceable, obviously spelled, and unambiguous.

It was big news in Charlotte, North Carolina where AvidXchange announced the groundbreaking on a new headquarters complex in the N.C. This time I told him I’d run it by my partners and get their feedback. I’m psyched to be joining the board of a company co-founded and run by Mike Praeger, a friend of mine for over 20 years.
