Schwartzfarb describes “Sell More Faster” as the indispensable guide for entrepreneurs seeking product-market fit, building their sales team, developing a growth strategy and chasing accelerated, repeatable selling success.

“I didn’t set out to write a book but as we looked around the market for an operational playbook for sales, we couldn’t find one, so I tapped into my 20 years of sales experience and my network so that we could create a valuable resource for founders everywhere,” said Schwartzfarb.

“Sell More Faster” is the only practical playbook that details how startups can build and scale their sales organization from day one, including lessons on product-market direction and product-market fit, building a diverse sales team, testing sales theories and models for scaling, developing ongoing relationships with customers and more. Schwartzfarb set out to create a guide for anyone interested in starting, growing or leading a modern startup so that they can hit the ground running with a solid plan and foundation with agile and effective sales teams, so that they can avoid and manage the hazards all startups face.

Schwartzfarb introduces readers to the “W3 Method” as an overall framework that businesses should take, built around three crucial questions: Who are you selling to? What are they buying? Why do they buy? Schwartzfarb argues that these basic questions are often overlooked, yet are critical to building any successful sales organization. The W3 Method equips startups with the tools to articulate their strategy with their team, company, investors and customers.

“Early stage sales and product-market fit are topics that I love talking about,” said Schwartzfarb. “I’ve spent my entire career helping to build early stage companies and I feel very fortunate to share my experience with founders everywhere.”

The book is also a collaboration with Techstars, the startup accelerator with locations all over the world. As part of the Techstars library, “Sell More Faster” contains aggregated knowledge from Techstars leaders, instilling lessons learned from the accelerator’s experience with years of work with startups.

“When I asked David Cohen, Co-CEO of Techstars, for some advice on writing the book he suggested a collaboration utilizing the experience of the 1900 companies in the program’s global portfolio — we could bring all of these lessons learned by the startups we invest in to a wider audience,” said Schwartzfarb. “Of course I jumped at the opportunity to collaborate so we can help founders everywhere.”

Amos Schwartzfarb will be going on tour across the country this fall to talk about the book. Attendees will be treated to an hour-long workshop aimed to give founders the tools to figure out their W3 and set them on a path towards product-market direction. The workshop comes straight out of Chapter 1 of the playbook and comes with a signed copy of “Sell More Faster.”
