Amy and I were in Missoula for the marathon on Sunday and I decided to do a Meetup talk about Startup Communities. Rob Irizarry and the Montana Programmers Meetup made everything happen – all I had to do was show up and talk. I was totally, completely blown away by Elke and what she and her gang have created at Mamalode.

3- After the special feature of our community. Our business name was an easy decision: we named it Headframe Spirits after a really special feature of our Community. Butte, Montana was a copper mining town. I started a digital magazine dedicated to the accounts of mental health and diverse communities.

For example, the farm and ranch real estate market in Montana is composed of a few large firms and hundreds of mom and pop shops, so it is very fragmented. Filling this need has led to increased trust and starts building a relationship with the farm and ranch community and our market. Being an entrepreneur is scary.

Yesterday at 4:57pm I hit send in Gmail and submitted the final draft of my newest book Startup Communities: Building an Entrepreneur Ecosystem In You City to my publisher (Wiley). Startup Communities is the first book in a four book series I’m doing called Startup Revolution. We get up early tomorrow and head to Montana.
