Before I joined Amazon, I had heard about PRFAQs documents, which stands for press release frequently asked questions. It’s a one-pager (the PR part) with many pages (the FAQ part) that describes a new feature or product that you want to get funded. The document is written as if it is being released now which is the working backwards part. It is super useful to vet out ideas and get stakeholder alignment without writing one line of code yet.
