SEEING THINGS FROM THE VC SIDE OF THE TABLE While I was a VC in 2007 & 2008 those were dead years because the market again evaporated due the the Global Financial Crisis (GFC).

Local politicians wanting to see local job creation rather than jobs at tech firms all migrating to San Francisco should be heartened. Does it surprise you that the fastest-growing “unicorn” was launched in Los Angeles and not San Francisco? Not at all. Bird is the natural evolution in billion-dollar++ outcomes in LA.
