One of them, Oblong , as been working on spacial computing since John Underkoffler’s early research in the 1990′s at the MIT Media Lab. The demo is iconic and amazing, but it takes too long and is too abstract for their corporate customers buying Oblong’s Mezzanine product. Your next reaction is “I want one.”

If a company exceeds projected revenues, the effective rate increases. to 15.0%.

One of the people I respect the most in the VC/PE media ecosystem is Dan Primack. Series C/D is the new Mezzanine. Because of this the first mention of a company in the press/media is usually concurrent with their Seed round financing announcement. Series A is the new Series B. (~6M-$15M Series B is the new Series C.
