You will find that entrepreneurs and investors do things differently in Boise, Tucson, Little Rock, Cincinnati and Atlanta than they do in the Valley.

Amy and I spent the last week at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. I also needed a focused week to finish the final draft of Book #2 ( Venture Deals: Be Smarter Than Your Lawyer and VC ) that I’m writing with my partner Jason Mendelson. It was awesome. I was tired and needed a break.

She’s in Tucson (where I’m heading after this) and even though we both talked about her coming to join me, I encouraged her not to this time since it was a lot of travel in the middle of a trip for her. This is the first marathon that Amy hasn’t joined me for.
