Coding bootcamps will graduate 6,000 people in 2014 via VentureBeat
It is a full-on “coding bootcamp” bubble, I declare!
I jest of course. Despite the misgivings by others about these bootcamps teaching hordes of newbie coders to write bad code, there is clearly a huge gap in the market for talent that is not being served other programs. As for the quality of talent, I have been impressed with the folks I have talked to and the work they have produced. Sure, the quality may down as more people consider careers in tech and more bootcamps open, but the fact is the market is starved for talent.
