Yesterday, we cut a ribbon

Check it off the list: I finally was a part of a ribbon cutting :)

Yes, we officially announced our new office space to the world. The Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development made us legit by cutting the ribbon and celebrating Dragon Army and Dagger’s rapid growth and new office in Old 4th Ward.

I’m really proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish so far, but as an entrepreneur with BIG plans, I also feel like we’re just beginning. So it was nice to be forced to sit back for a few hours and reflect on how far we’ve come.

We LOVE being in Old 4th Ward. The area is so vibrant and unique, with the BeltLine being our main mode of travel throughout the day. When/if the rail portion of the BeltLine is developed, I could see using it to get almost everywhere I’d need to go. And our building is insanely cool, if I do say so myself.

Our office will allow us to have about 100 team members, which means we can just more than double and still stay in our space. With a five year lease, I expect we’ll have some decisions to make in the next 18-24 months. But for now, its time to keep grindin’ ;)
