When we started IMVU in 2004, we could rely on a staggering amount of open source software that jumpstarted our initial product offering. In fact, the data (www.php.net/usage.php) show that PHP's adoption flattened in the middle of 2005. Well, web development has continued to grow, so it must be growing elsewhere.
