In April 2008, I was introduced to Ugmode, Inc. While Zappos was doing diligence on Modista, the issue was brought up that one of other companies in this space — Like.com , founded by Munjal Shah — had filed for some IP in this area. The lawsuit completely killed the financing prospects for Ugmode.
