Currently Los Angeles is in what could be a startup renaissance or an apocalypse, dependent on how long the hype goes on. Many investors now advertise that want only developers, they will cover all business/marketing/etc. I’ve been harping about this a lot (too much?) for over a year: [link]. I call it harvesting youth.

Advertisement. Restrict validation to confirming key points (such as the availability of a user name), ensuring realistic answers (such as not allowing ages above 130) and suggesting responses where the range of possible data is finite but too long to include in a drop-down menu (such as a country-code prefix). Advertising.
