The best technique is just to lease / rent dedicated servers from hosts like SoftLayer, The Planet, etc, and pay several hundred dollars a month out of your revenues. That said, I dont think EC2 is reliable enough to depend upon, and the entire reputation of a startup can hinge on that. Looking forward to seeing what aroxo is all about.
