What makes an individual a great startup founder (versus an employee) has been something I had been thinking about since I retired. And in particular I’m not suggesting that every employee who joins a startup fits this profile, it just seems more prevalent in the founder(s). Nor am I suggesting that everyone who does so turns out well.
