His entire product is just an HTML front-end to libpurple, which is 99% of his codebase. Will it kill these SV types to admit building HTML front-ends to open source products? So frequently embarrassing failures are masked by spinning PR or fudging numbers to give the illusion of success. Other than that I cant say much more.
