Danish Amusement Park Leverages Mobile App For Interaction

Sommerland Sjælland , a Denmark amusement park located in Odsherred on Zealand, found its answer in mobile applications. You can even feed goats and rabbits or activate smoke on a train while going through a jungle via SMS. The theme park, which saw some 137,000 visitors in 2010, earlier this month unveiled a new app, the Fidy Guide.

We’re only just dipping our toes into mobile/wireless etc in LouderVoice with SMS reviews/customer feedback. Post any thoughts in the comments… (+ I’m planning a trip to Denmark in the near future- anything I should be sure to catch?). Medium term aim is full LBS functionality along the lines of Socialight or Whrrl.
