The idea has value, but the implementation and design model you follow (customer feedback loop) is where the traction will come from. link] What’s the right amount of seed money to raise?

bfliris So it sounds like with Meebo (your claim to fame) you were passionate about the idea but had no programming skill, partnered with two people that had strong programming ability and did very little to assist them in creating a succesful application. How do you know which designer/developer to choose? Partner up?
