In fact, 50% of our investments are in Southern California, from Santa Barbara to San Diego. We try to recruit investment partners who bring startup operating experience. They don’t assign tasks and then whisk off to Aspen or to Hawaii or Miami or wherever else tech gatherings are happening. That’s healthy.
