As we started to focus on what each of us wanted to do, Adam raised his venture capital fund – Plus Capital. She joined Mesa Global where she is doing both venture capital and investment banking.

Whats is the best way to find a co-founder for your startup? However, one of my co-founders doesn’t seem to be as motivated as the rest of us. As founders invest massive amounts of time into their start-up, how critical is it for them to come out of their “hermit caves” and network? Non of this academic stuff.

The founders were simply wrong about their assumptions about customer needs. It turns out the term “visionary founder” was usually a synonym for someone who was hallucinating. Founders Need to Run the Company Longer. So, almost like clockwork 20 th century startups fired the innovators/founders when they scaled.

The founders were simply wrong about their assumptions about customer needs. In addition to super angels, incubators like Y Combinator , TechStars and the 100+ plus others worldwide like them have begun to formalize seed-investing. The effort that went into making all those unused features was wasted.
