Could we even could find 40 Stanford graduate students interested in being guinea pigs for this new class? While we were going to teach theory and frameworks, these students were going to get a hands-on experience in how to start a new company. Or was the business model/customer development framework just smoke, mirror and B.S.?

Start using some of those customers as guinea pigs for a self-serve version of the product. Eric, I have Steves book and wish I had it for 1 couple of my earlier startups where the framework would have helped our team get on the same page. Now that Im in a web based company Im finding a difficult match the framework, culturally.
