This is a guest post by Jeff Jordan, General Partner of Andreessen Horowitz. The name was shortened to “Airbnb” and they launched their website in 2009. And they have been ably managing the operations amidst simply explosive growth. Talk about a business with humble roots. For me, it was a true déjà vu experience.
