It turns out that Nate and Natty spent most of their time simply searching for what they were looking for. Whenever a specific topic came up, they’d use Google, be patient when reading through the search results and forums, refine their search, and keep trying. But they often quickly ended up back at Google searching away.

Yes, search does have the effect of causing SEO and content-poaching and all that stuff, so this distinction connects to my first point. I find the ads Google gives me generally useful, and I don’t see Google making me more of an a **e than I already am. It certainly does not make me sad.

This publisher then runs a never-ending fire drill with their sales, SEO and yield management teams to fulfill those obligations with their advertisers. We clicked. And the Internet grew.

In some situations all the actions I could take were exposed; in others I had to search a menu tree for them. What Can SEO Learn From UX? In some screens data was automatically saved after I exited a field; in others I had to take an explicit action. Orientation of the iPhone mattered in some cases and didn’t in others.
