We alsothought wed be able to sign up a lot of catalog companies, becauseselling online was a natural extension of their existing business.But in 1996 that was a hard sell. When we got real funding nearthe end of 1996, we hired a great CFO, who fixed everything retroactively. It would be too easy for clients to fire them.
